Nikki Fried Doubles Down on Florida’s Promise to Be Most Welcoming State for Veterans

Florida Agricultural Elect Commissioner Promises Marijuana for Veterans to a room full of Florida’s Top Law Enforcement Officers.

A Call to Action: Honoring Service, Sacrifice, and Country.

It was an impressive display of brass: Generals, National Guardsmen, County Sheriffs from around the state, Game Commissioners, and every sort of law enforcement jurisdiction.

Governor-elect DeSantis and incoming First Lady Casey DeSantis know all too well the sacrifice and dedication of those who serve us both at home and abroad in our military and as Florida’s first responders. This military and law enforcement appreciation event will honor the heroes who selflessly protect our state and nation. The event will be free and open to all veterans, military members, first responders and Gold Star families.

Nikki Fried, our next agricultural commissioner, to a room full of cops… delivered a wonderful message

Did I just hear her say… compassionate marijuana for veterans!

After the ceremony, Lee Greenwood sang “God bless the USA.” Out in the parking lot as all the politicians, law enforcement officers, and military men/women were departing, a live cover band was was signing over the stereo system “Drink a little drunk, smoke a little smoke” by Eric Church.

Tomorrow the inauguration will happen downtown Tallahassee. We will be there 850-565-9333
